The grain in the table makes a nice contrast to the texture of the lemon and the sugar(?? looks like it could be salt). The stray granules take away from the subject.

I get the blue yellow thing, but I think that the use of these particular items maybe a little confusing. Technically, its perfect.

Nice idea, but the lighting (which looks like flash) really hurts. The subject is too close to the background, if you pull it out some it will help alleviate the harsh shadow.
