| OK - my first submission and now I know the kind of competition I am up against! I rushed this entry and shouldn't have. Also, in retrospect I should have known that the fire/ice theme would be done to death. So 240th out of 291 is pretty dreadful, but I intend to do much better in future challenges. Thanks for the comments everyone :) |

| good concept, badly done. the flash at the bottom is very distracting as well, it should have been cropped out. |

| Lighting is dreary, foreground light patch takes the eye because its light, but is out of focus. Sorry to be brutal, but its dull. |

| These shots can be hard to get a good exposure! Good job all things considered. Work on your idea and redo your shot and I think you'll have a winner... |

| interesting idea. the flame looks great. but the glare on the bottom ruins it for me. Perhaps a crop, or just allow the light from the candle, instead of any artificial lighting? |
