The Flower Shoppeby ElaineComment: I really like the use of selective desaturation here as it serves to answer the challenge theme well, and emphasizes the textures in the shot.... I vote 7 |

Morning Gloryby yankoComment: I think this photo really answers the challenge theme well. The frame itself not only divides the subject into parts, but also draws the eye upwards through the shot to follow those parts. I think the outer edges of the frame appear a bit overbearing and could have been shot/cropped a bit tighter to emphasize what's outside the window more. nice shot nonetheless... I vote 7 |

Medieval Viewby loveComment: Nice composition and use of lines here. Your decision to desaturate the photo was a brave one, but works well in this case to move the focus towards the textures and lines... 7 |

outside the boxby tateComment: I really like this photo and the creative direction you took with it. The composition and color pallete work well for me. However, the focus seems a tad soft in all areas and the lighting appears to be distributed unevenly to create shadowing in some areas while appearing harsh in others. Nice shot nonetheless... my vote is a 7 |

Elements of Realityby karmatComment: Very nice. The composition is great with the large door frame really emphasizing the smallness of the child. The one element I find distracting is the reflection of the pick-up truck roofline in the glass. It appears to just cut right through your main subject and detracts from the emotive quality somewhat. But nice shot nonetheless.... My vote is a 7 |

Centrum of the middle of nowhereby steinarComment: Very nice capture here. I really like the story-book feel of this and the open window frame that "invites" the viewer and the eye into the shot. |

The Man In The Windowby TUBORGComment: I really like the contrasting color and darkness between the mand and the surrounding frame. Really characterizes this challenge theme well. |
