Giant Man-Eating Lizard from Marsby toddheadComment: The lack of perspective regarding the size of the lizard is a fantastic inclusion (or should I say exclusion). Great detail on his face, great DOF, great image!
Good luck!

somewhere in spaceby JohannesFrankComment: This...is...great!
You've photoshopped this image alot, but I don't think you've overdone it (although you're teetering on the brink!). ;)
Nicely composed, interesting colours and tones (albeit photoshop induced) and the smoke from the 'building' really finishes this image off! Fits the challenge perfectly and I think this will do well (although my vote of confidence is invariably the 'kiss of death' for challenge images!).
Good luck!

Escape by nico_blueComment: Good idea! Very well executed and definitely dreamlike 'n surreal enough to be something out of a fantasy world. My only criticisms would be the crop/composition, feels like there's something wrong but I'm not sure what. Also, the hotspot on the face detracts very slightly, but it isn't obvious at first so it's extremely minor.
Congrats on your original and creative entry to this challenge, I know how difficult these can be to execute.
Good luck for the challenge!

To Truly Be Freeby GeocideComment: I think your interpretation of this challenge is a bit of a stretch, but I'm all for stretching the challenge description! ;)
Great tones on the jeans, nice deep blue, although I think the lighting is a little dull and the model seems a little awkward and rushed (self timer?). I don't like how you've chopped off bits and pieces and the hotspot on the right sock really does detract. I hope my criticism helps and good luck! :)

Forced Sub Missionby loveComment: Made me chuckle, not as much as the tin foil g-string picture in the metal challenge, though ;)
8 for fantastic originality, contrasts and execution. The tinfoil must have been a bit of a nightmare to work with!

Cinderellas' Sistersby kiwinickComment: I think there's far too much manipulation in this photo, although I like the colours. Invocative of 'fantasy' though, so you meet the challenge, and this shot is aesthetically pleasing too!
I'm compelled to vote low because of the obvious and extensive manipulation of this image which, although within the rules, is far too manipulated for my tastes.
4 for meeting the challenge with an attractive image, but this isn't really photography IMO.
Sorry to vote so low :(

A Peaceful Interludeby saracatComment: A great image, although I think the execution could be a touch better :(
The whites are too hot, increasing the f-stop so that you can expose it for long to get 'soft water' without over exposing the image :)
6 from me and good luck!

Gum Dropsby CEJComment: Whoah...
Far out ;)
A 7 from me, simple composition, busy and rhythmic but it works out nicely and the colours are fantastic and really 'far out'. I think you've leaned to heavily on the PS work here though. Nevertheless, I really like this image! A 7 from me :)

Noirby nico_blueComment: I'm not so sure why this didn't do a little better. One of my favourite images from the challenge.
Congrats on your top 20 finish, but it should have placed a little higher IMO.

Consumingby Joey LawrenceComment: I thought this might be you, Joey! I liked the effect created by the noise reduction software here...very soft. I also like how you've chosen to leave this shot in colour.
I think this should have done a little better. Nice entry, Joey.
