I really liked this picture. I wonder if this is what people see when confronted with a fear. Great job!

Fantastic! The first mouse/rat picture to show actual fear, not just the object of fear. Great job!

Fanstasic use of a long exposure to get those ghostly forks. I can gear the noise!

I would have scored this one higher had the depth of field been a little deeper to keep the snake's nose in focus.

I agree with others that a different background might have been a better choice for the image. You wrote in your comments that you tried to eliminate reflections. A few strategic light reflections might not have been a bad idea though. They would give depth to the picture. Here's a couple shots I took earlier this year where light is reflected off the glass. They seem to have been well received:

Take this with a grain of salt. Just a few thoughts to mull over.

This is fantastic. It's stands head and shoulders above the other water droplet shots b/c of the reflection in the droplets. I love it! Congrats on your blue ribbon.

This is a great subject, but the photograph is grainy, out of focus in many places, and completely unsharp. (Sorry to be so direct and untactful.)

Nice job! One of a very few kid pictures in the bunch that really shows what he is proud of. You get a real sense of pride from the expression on his face and his stance.

I really liked where you were going with this picture. I would have liked to see less washout in the female lions. I also wonder if it wouldn't have been better with a tighter crop.
