I love the colours against the black background. Excellent composition. I really like how you have arranged the pencils with the lines of them going in the one direction. Also the cube breaks up the lines which you have used (pencils). The lighting is excellent but imo the dark spot on the lower left kind of drags my eye down there. However an excellent, creative shot. This certainly meets this weeks challenge. GL :) 9

CC: Your comments above have given me an excellent idea of where you are comming from with your image. The lighting is fantastic coming from the three windows (as you have explained), it really highlights the whole subject. The setting is nice and inviting and makes the viewer want to have a cuppa/coffee. The chocolates add a nice touch as well. The only picky thing is that hotspot to the left of the image, where the light is bouncing off the table. Overall a beautiful image which IMO certainly meets the challenge. Well done.
