well, i think it works.
I like it.
but then again, I'm a fan of this kind of processing.
you can hardly see the join between the two images!
and of course, the transportation theme joins the two images together also.
the only minus I can really find is that the car is too "new" and doesn't really fit with the PP theme of "old".
although I doubt you could arrange to get an old car to pose on the bridge for you.
but what about an empty bridge?

I think the colors of the building look great from this side.
You don't need to bother going round to the other side.
