The image has a nice subtle mood, an interesting title, and nice visual rhythm, though the composition could benefit from a tighter crop, with the top fifth removed.

The contrast might be a bit much. This effect may have been what you were after, but the blown-out upper left corner really detracts from the overall image. Otherwise, the texture and composition are quite nice.

Chains To Nowhere

I like the visual rhythm and texture. The exposure level is right where it should be. The composition does cause a bit of visual stress though, as the lines tend to draw the eye away from the most interesting sharp texture and into the unfocused area.

Dual wheel drive

Great exposure! The color of the sky works well with the rust color. The already strong composition could be made stronger still by cropping the right side just a little, to prevent the sky from going to the bottom edge. Try cropping it just to the left of where the right side of the pipe begins to curve. It helps the balance and keeps the curve of the pipe from overcoming the strong linear composition.

Overall, the lighting is quite nice. However, I would like to have seen some very subtle light coming from the right somewhere to avoid making the shadows so heavy.
