 My first entry for DP Challenge. I have two bikes in my back garden that have been left alone for three years. I expected more rust, but found some on the pedals. Used my recently purchased macro lens and 550EX flash. I then cropped, changed colour balance and levels, and added some contrast. Wasn't totally happy with the results but I was limited for time.

Good photo. Sharp and good lighting. It would have been great if it had just a bit deeper DOF and captured the metal clasp at the bottom with the 4 leaf clover..

great lighting. the background is rather distracting. i'd prefer a slightly smaller DOF. otherwise i like it a lot

Very nice photo. I like your title, it reminds me that old things can be preserved if we take sufficient interest in them. Good composition and lighting brings the eye to the object totally neglected.
