Blurred Interlude by jjbeguinComment: "Practically a candid..." Uh, huh. Right, sure. So basically you're telling us you scored an 8+ and 98 tens BY ACCIDENT?! Man, I've got a looooong way to go. Congrats on your bazillionth blue! ;-) |

Meby L2Comment: Great idea. Only the strange color balance keeps me from giving it a very high score. There appears to be some glare on the top right corner, and you could have easily cloned out the Kodak logo on the print, but it's still a very expressive portrait. 7 |

Gordonby GordonComment: The face looks familiar, but I just can't place it. ;-) Good job on the lighting, and a nice use of the recent challenge technique. |

midnight in the gardenby grigrigirlComment: Those striking eyes remind me of National Geographic's famous portrait of the Afghan girl, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks so. I do wish the focus was a bit sharper- all the crisp detail seems to be in the hair. |

Contrastby Erin_KComment: Cute shot, though the focus appears soft, and it looks like those pretty eyes have been painted in (rough edges). Looks like you're trying to contain a laugh. Let it out. ;-) |

Almost 40by bobdaveantComment: Hi Bob- nice shot... the lighting, angle and expression are all great, though I'd like to see you moved further to the right within the frame. Something about the edge detail seems off- maybe some slight motion, ISO1600, or something in the way the shot was processed, but there's just enough pixelization around the eyes to be noticeable. Still, a strong entry. |

Finally.....by Beach_melComment: Beautiful portrait- one of my top 15. Wish I could see a little more of the baby's face, because the expression looks like one in a million. The window light was a good choice, but something about the dark shadow on the side of your face looks unnatural (cropping through the cheek would solve most of that). Still very nice. 8 |
