Double flash exposure - the other picture is an MRI scan, photgraphed and sized apprpriately. Done this before without the double exposure. Spent the whole of today trying to improve and I have failed and given up - the aligmnet was too difficult - wanted to do colour too! Maybe next time.
Levels, contrast, clipping, cloning to remove MRI test, desat, USM, border with canvas size, resize, save for web.

One of the few people I actually recognised; your getting good mileage out of that MRI scan ;-) Nicely done shot and i'd be interested to know how you did. Good luck in the challenge. 9

Returning for comment:
Wild and crazy! The congenial smile adds the levity to offset the gory reality of the internals. A very good effect. Bumping up.

What a great smile - even your eyes smile. I'd think I'd rather see a full face shot than the biometric half.

I would have preferd the face shot without the MRI scan photo half exposure in the frame. but hey, lets techniqucally it's good. 6
