Eye Give Upby JuliBocComment: comment only, not voting.
Am thinking most voters will say 'parrot' or similar and not think its a unique, never before seen subject. I'm a sucker for negative space and generally like this type of composition. Sadly nothing is in sharp focus for me and even if this was intentional? imho it detracts from what could have been a very nice image. |

Langdon's World (creator of DPC)by LydiaComment: comment only, not voting.
IMHO I reckon this is one of few images that a) meet the challenge and b) is of an above average quality. I think I'm getting the link with Langdon (has anybody ever seen him) and whilst there are a couple of blown areas and the overall image is a little 'busy' the longer I look at it the more I like it (almost 1984). Good luck! |

Primal Scream!by dsa157Comment: comment only, not voting.
I unsubmitted my sp with a unique twist as I thought it would get slammed (this challenge confusesme). Anyway, for me this is one of the better images in the challenge even though body painting isn't totally new here. well done with the idea, painting and most importantly the excellent lighting. Looks more like a light roar than primal scream mind you ;) am sure this will do well for you! |

belly-up ON the barby oldbimmercoupeComment: Air conditioning unit? this is almost like 2 images. Its a fun angle and am guessing thats your 'unique' aspect to the image. For me its ok but doesn't make me go wow! this is something I have to try. (comment only as I'm not voting). |

Wingless?by davisambroseComment: (comment only, not voting)
Granted, I can't remember seeing a wingless version of this critter on dpc (can't say I've searched lol). I'm loving the right half of this but for me the left half lets things down a little. Maybe its the very shallow dof but his/her body is a little blown out and oof and I think the left background could do with a little neat image. Overall I quite like the image but sadly, for me it doesn't make me say 'WOW' Good luck :) |

Restlessby bspurgeonComment: The reason I'm not voting in this challenge is because of images like this and probably my incorrect take on the challenge title/description. I like this type of photography and have seen the same 'style' here before.
I like the composition, jaunty angle, viewers angle and perfectly placed 'character'. I also like the overall treatment though a little more black might have helped imho.
As I said, I'm not voting. If this where(say)a free study I'd be on the 7 button but in this challenge probably a 5. |

Titanium Skull Implantby hughletherenComment: Meets the challenge perfectly and whilst there is obviuosly a story here the image doesn't do anything for me sorry (comment only as I'm not voting). |

Todayby dahkotaComment: Am not voting in the duotone challenge but wish you luck with the LB shot. I've not viewed all images yet but have only seen 1 more LB shot and thought there would have been more (all sepia of course). |

A helping handby ZigomarComment: Zigomario, you seem have got this whole lensbay thing down to a fine art! My only nitpick would be that the border is stopping the image spilling out to the edges. am sure the UK viewers would (like me) be thinking about the Chuckle Brothers and "to me", "to you" lol |
