they are right behind youby ceyvalComment: This is hilarious! It's too bad the photo couldn't have been just about the two boys on the right...
Technically well rendered. Nice timing for your capture. Great story in the image. |

You Make The Call!by GolferDDSComment: Since it appears to be 2nd base, I believe he's out!
Nice moment captured here...feels like it has a story. Love the pattern. Love the action. |

Over the Ohioby jpochardComment: I'm behind on my comments given / received ratio. Thanks for the excuse to add some simple messages! This must have been a very awesome moment as the sun sunk down behind this lovely span. |

Urban Land Linesby jpochardComment: I love this! Color blocking to make an abstraction of something people usually just walk by is one of my favorite type of images! The diagonal shadows really make it dynamic. |

Rockin' Duckby jpochardComment: I'm one of your 79 7's. You came in 2 places above me in this challenge. And there we are, doomed to have these silly rubber ducks high on our profile pages for ever and ever and ever.... =o! |

Swallows in flightby vtruanComment: Wow! 0 comments! (Ok. and I'm guilty, too.)
For me, it was the crop. I really just want to see the 2 birds closest to the top, the others don't add much....or else, there needs to be more space for them all to play.
Swallows are wonderful birds! Probably in the top 10 favorites of all time. They are also exceedingly difficult to capture! I usually just give up and watch them. These lack the deep scissored tail...are you certain they're swallows?
Perhaps you could put a comment on your photog notes...I'm curious what this image means to you. |

Parallels of Family, Darkness and Lightby banmornComment: Well, despite your perfect "5" you can take heart that so many commentors "got it"! It really is perfect for the challenge...and beyond. The tension and playfulness of line in this image should make those under-five voters ashamed! (and if this is your average by the voters, well, I'll just sit here and be jealous)
Thanks for playing in the "closest to 5" thread today! |

Little Boy Blueby bobdaveantComment: Looks like you were a victim of people adhering too closely to the "rules" of composition! With the expression on this chaps face, he should be about to hit the frame! Ahh, well, you know the voters....when in doubt, it must be a 5.
Thanks for playing closest to 5 today! |
