I love the simplicity of this. I would have liked to see the hook pierced through the bottle cap, but that's just a personal preference.

I like the view that you were trying to get, but as an advertisement, the wall in the foreground just sort of gets in the way. It takes attention away from the main attraction... at least for me. The sky is so pretty in this picture, as is the subject.

Wow... so colorful! I may have cropped this a little further.. to take out those two yellow things (yes, that's a technical term!) in the back left that seem really over-exposed.

This is technically very very well carried out. I would love to have some pointers about how to get such crisp photos! The one thing that I would have liked to see is the lime cut... either in half or maybe even those little triangles that you have to slice it into to fit it into the bottle. I know, picky picky. That doesn't affect your score. hehe... just a personal thought.

As far as the picture goes, it's a cute idea! The one thing that struck me is that you can't tell where the java is from. And... in order to sell it... you'd probably want the coffee shop name showing. I'm torn as to whether I like the car there, since he's on his way to work, or don't like it because it's a very limited view of it and somewhat distracting. Your dog is adorable... hehe. Good luck in the challenge!!

Flower and Weeds

I voted - and commented - on this photograph already, but I wanted to come back to it. This was one of my favorite photos, though I was pretty sure you were going to get some of the comments like "does not fit the challenge." Phooey, I say! I think the focus on the flower and blur of the weeds only adds MORE opposition. Now we have flower/weeds AND focused/unfocused. And anyway, people really do tend to dote on the flower more than the weed. It really shows peoples views on each element: they adore the flower and ignore the weeds. Anyway. I love it. I think that the "rule of thirds" would ruin this shot. Gorgeous gorgeous work.. blows mine out of the water.

Those are my two cents, anyway (or was it two dollars by now? I'll stop rambling.)
