I really like this. I'm not a huge fan of black and white -- or for highly exposed photographs, but this photograph works very well for me. You clearly have the skills to set the shot up and the looks to be in the shot...one of my highest rated ... definately deserving of a ribbon.

that's pretty cool...is that graussian blue or a lens baby? Either way, looks really neat. I hope you get a ribbon -- this is clearly the best I've seen thus far and I'm about 95% through all the photos. Your border works well with the photograph too! g'luck 10!

hrmm...pretty good. I bet a lot of people are complaining about the blown out section out the window...that's the first thing that grabbed my eye too. The eye tends to be drawn to the brightest part of an image. Really, there's probably no way to correct the exposure problem other than ...

underexposing yourself really badly...using a REALLY bright flash hehe...or using multiple images blended together. So, I guess (on a budget) you'd be limited to finding something else for the background (still using the natural light) or cropping that section out.
