Bitternessby olnosComment: Like the "poster" effect you got here..fits the image really well.
I tried a similar technique for the "portrait" challenge..only taking it a stage further..(I go back to the sixties..Hard day`s night front cover, etc) :)
Unfortunately, not many voters appreciate this kind of work...ah well it`s their loss.

Sunset Stormby ImagineerComment: Love the transition in the colour of the sky and the slight motion blurring.
Don`t know if the window frame would have been more or less distracting than the reflections.
Nice work..good luck |

Leviathanby ImagineerComment: Your attention to detail has produced an excellent image from what could have been ordinary snap. The addition of the child..the upward glance and the lighting all add so much to the overall effect.
Good work |

Ground Workby crabappl3Comment: Simple but very well executed to produce an excellent image from so little.

York's City Wallsby BobsterLobsterComment: I like the use of high contrast in this image...although I suspect that you may get some criticism for it...especially the sky..most voters seem to hate lack of detail.
Knowing the British weather..I`m aware that on some occasions, it is like this naturally..I think you have used it to your advantage to create interesting contrast between background and foreground.
Well done. |

The Final Pull by clickawayComment: Very nice framing and exposure.
I think I`m begining to recognise styles at DPC...it will be interesting to see if I`m correct after the challenge....good luck |

Stronger than Steelby GordonComment: Great image...really like the way you have used the light and DOF to great effect.
The only drawback I can see to this image..is if people vote by thumbnail..they may not see the relevance of it.
Hope this doesn`t happen....good luck |
