And.....ACTION!! [click] (5/52)by KroburgComment: Great to see the interaction between the two puppies, probably even more fun to watch how this develops.
As a small suggestion I would clone (or crop) out the leaf on the right - it doesn't add anything and is now a (small) distractor. It also clear you like Hoover best, because that's where you focused on, but with the large aperture you now miss the focus on Casper's nose. |

04/52 - one whopper of a workroomby mitalapoComment: Very nice room to capture with a wide angle lens. You have a nice warm glow throughout the picture, lovely detail all the way to the back of the room, and plenty to discover. Nice one! |

"If I stay still she won't see me!!!" Thought the rabbitby EnlightenedComment: This is a tough picture to get in focus - the rabbit was at least partially right, because I think the autofocus saw more of the higher contrast branches slightly to the back than of the rabbit. I'm watching this on my laptop, which is far from perfect, but your snow does look fairly decent, maybe a tad blue still.

Merlinby EnlightenedComment: Tough lighting you faced here. Although I never practiced this myself, I hear that you could try to use a fill flash to give a little more light, and to create a catchlight in the bird's eye. |

2013 PAW - Week 4by MarkBComment: You're getting deeper into this Christmas cactus every time. This starts to turn into an abstract by now. The highlights seem a bit blown and now no longer carry the characteristic color. |

05 - Birches In WInterby ursulaComment: Zooming in foing from the blue diagonal to the tree trunks, there's yet another level of intriguing detail visible of the branches if you care to look. Nice. |

Week 5 - Texturesby BeckyTComment: Interesting choice t go for f/25 and 1" exposure. You would expect to see quite a bit of diffraction at this aperture, and at 1" you tripod had better be a sturdy one. I also don't see why you would need the larger DoF, especially in a case like this where you could have the subject perfectly in the plane of focus.
The result is a good picture, maybe with too harsh shadows for my liking (as soon as you invite people to comment you are bound to get conflicting responses all the time!), but a nice contrast between the softness of the feather (hardened by the contrast) and the hardness of the broken shells (?). |

The-Night-Visitorsby jomariComment: Nice little critters. Well captured. They've spotted you, and no doubt that they'll run off quickly. |
