Lovely distillation of the birchness of the trees in snow.

Although the technique is interesting and very well executed, this image is slighly less appealing to me than the other ones with their smooth lines and colours. Still something I want to try myself one day.

Now this is really beautiful, especially in the full size version. I have tried this a few times myself but have never produced anything as lovely as this.

What Alice said. Very appealing and surreal.

No matter how often I see this technique, I gasp and look for more.
Lovely gradation of colors and shapes here.

I love the colors. It's a bt like an abstract EKG. The motion borders on distracting for me but the color sells it.

Another wonderful result Ursula. Every tone is exposed just right and I love the movement too.

Great result, Ursula. Love the blue, brown and white palette of a beautiful winter day.

Zooming in foing from the blue diagonal to the tree trunks, there's yet another level of intriguing detail visible of the branches if you care to look. Nice.

So beautiful - there is a quality about your shots Ursula that wold give you away as the photographer - silky, beautiful colors, gorgeous lines .. I find it so hard to pan like yo do and have the shot come out so lovely and straight - the whites at the bottom turning into the blues at the top - almost as if there was still snow on the ground and the sky was a beautiful blue color. What a joy it is to come across your work. It's a visual delight every time.

You have such wonderful abstracts. I was guessing it might be trees. Lovely blue sky compliments the rest of the colors. Beautiful.

Just lovely, the colours are beautiful and the vertical lines disected by the diagonal line of snow and sky work a treat.

Gorgeous as ever Ursula. We have t really had an sunny days this winter - so much so I have not managed any winter scenes yet. Plenty of time yet I suppose.

I like the way there is a clear diagonal line between the snow and the blue sky.
