U.S. Capitol with Flag at Dawnby The EskimoComment: great exposure to not blow the interior lighting. Though upon close inspection the overall contrast feels odd. Also odd you didn't place the flag at the center as it's neither center nor really off-center. This is the first capitol shot I've ever seen that didn't show the dome. I'll give you an extra point for being different, though I would have given you 2 extra points if you showed the dome. I believe that's what they call dpc logic. |

Quit Staring At It!!!!by buzzrockComment: I'd hate to be the assistant who had to help position the model. I wouldn't do it for a whole case of PBR...well...maybe for two. |

Garden Night Lightsby arrowsmithComment: this image gives me a creepy feeling that someone is going to jump me from behind. I'm glad i'm not standing there...cool. |

The Bridge Downtownby bhack101Comment: great focus and lighting. i wish the building signage wasn't there, as it over powers the rest of the image for me. |

no titleby kyeboshComment: interesting compostion...how you've placed the "good" conscience looking up and the "evil" one looking down. Perhaps instead it is the "devilish" side acting well "devilish" and the "heavenly" side bitter that you seem to be leaning toward the dark side. Perhaps I'm over analyzing. Anyway, nice work. For me, only problem is your main side needs to be in sharp focus like the other 2. Seems like you didn't even try to pp the contrast and sharpness, which adds to your photographic credibility, but will hurt your score here. |

30 Seconds or Moreby MayaMComment: interesting combination of smoothing and sharpening. First reaction was wow. Closer inspection revealed perhaps a bit too much around the path area. Still the leading lines, including the line of the open sky and stadium roof slant, is quite nice. |

Blueby Ragga2000Comment: Nice crisp photo, for a night shot. The coloring is interesting, but I wish there was a greater variety of toning to add a bit more interest. |

Frozenby ChikaZAWaComment: I don't know much about IR, but it is very intriguing to me that this is the result of a 30 sec exposure. Perhaps you needed to add filters like a standard exposure, which is also perhaps why it seems a bit fuzzy. Wish there had been a way to adjust the composition so the pipe wasn't evident. |

Colour of Nightby lentilComment: i like the softness of the clouds juxtaposed with the sharpness of the roof. i wish the building wasn't so centered, it just makes the image feel way to static for me. Reflection colors are interesting, wish you used a bit tighter aperture or waited a few more minutes, to make the overall scene darker and enhance those reflections. I think you would have still had plenty color in the sky to work with. |
