You picked a tricky challenge to do your 1st ir photo entry. At 40 seconds the trees are always going to look soft in even the slightest breeze. The hot-spot in the middle is hardly noticeable and you have mastered the channel swapping already. A very respectable score and i`m sure your going to score even higher when you get your shutter speed faster.
A great start to IR :)

Not too fond of infrared, however, very interesting hazy central area which contrasts w/ the sharpness of the rest of the landscape..... very nice reflections and beautiful sky.

Lovely. Maybe crop out that planter or whatever it is on the right?

Sorry, not a fan of IR shots. Looks like an interesting photo opportunity herer. Nice still water for reflections and the high banks add interest. Would like to see this in color. ;^)

Interested to see how this is done with a blue sky

I don't know much about IR, but it is very intriguing to me that this is the result of a 30 sec exposure. Perhaps you needed to add filters like a standard exposure, which is also perhaps why it seems a bit fuzzy. Wish there had been a way to adjust the composition so the pipe wasn't evident.

I like this alot. What is the pipe-thing in the lower-right? Did you try a crop that left that out?

Nice pic, good composition, but the drain pipe throws off the continuity and the focus may be a bit soft.

Nice IR, reminds me of Marbo´s shots but this one isn´t as crystal clear as his usually are, nice work nevertheless.

I do like this shot, it's a great IR shot.
There does seem to be a haze centered in the picture though, not sure if it's intentional but it is very off putting.
Not a bad idea to keep the sky blue either, would of liked to see more of it though seen as it looks so nice.

This is sooo nice. I guess the trees were moving, it would have been perfect otherwise. 8

Going to my favorites. I love the reflection on the water. Only suggestion would be to remove the pipe in the lower right.
