Anastasiaby nbortonComment: The pose and lighting are very nice and first impressions are very good. However, looking a bit longer, it looks like the skin has been touched up so much it looks like wax. There is absolutely no texture to the skin. |

While I could have easily removed them via adjustments to brightness and contrast, their inclusion here was critical to me, because it added a subtle but distinct metaphorical quality (the suggestion of stars on a dark plane) to the photo, which made for poetry to my senses. |
I did not mean to say the specks were bad. I actually likes their inclusion. They helped make the sand look like the night sky. Congrats on your high finish. |
