Wide, from a quite a pedestrian angle, perhaps 45º against the reflected light. Not a close-up.

Man this is driving me nuts, I need some perspective! At first I thought it was a shot from a helicopter or something, but I'm now thinking it's a close up. I think this questioning is why I've added it to my fav's. Amazing.

Just how it is.. No suggestions. Nothing but admiration here.

Always LOVED this image due to the simplicity, composition, detail textures, lines and metallic silvery color.

Tiny suggestion, burn, or clone out the tiny whitw spots in the dark foreground, to make it stronger.

This is a gorgeous image. I just love the abstract feel and the way I could see it as showing several radically different scales: a high-altitude shot of a shoreline, a small detail of a wave on a beach, and even the edge of a nebula in deep space.

This is a work of art. Such a simple concept, beautifully executed with so much to see - both imagined and real.

I did not mean to say the specks were bad. I actually likes their inclusion. They helped make the sand look like the night sky. Congrats on your high finish.

You have created something very beautiful here, it´s a great image and the sand almost looks like velvet.. very very well done.

Love this pic, maybe interesting to try a slower speed to have a less "mineral" feeling to the water.

Very nice image. I like the contrast between the water (action) and the sand (inaction).

Wonderfull image full of shapes, texture and edges/borders. The oriantation you choose make it very special: needs some time to realize what it is.
I especially like the lower right part, where the water is very shallow and the next wave is comming.

Quite stunning. Looks like a sheet of metal or something ornamental, take out the beach and you'd never get it! Spots on the beach would be good gone, but not within the challenge obviously. Great shot.

Awsome shot. I can't help wondering if the light specks are reflections off sand or camera noise? Wonderful catch of the water.

Ok, ok... this is only a beach! Beautiful shot. The moon lit over the water was great.
