Don't Drink and Drive by byetkoComment: I'm very pleased when an artist can use a picture to portray a worthy message. You did just that...Good job! Composition is good, focus and light are fine. Best of luck in the challenge. Please remember to keep an open mind when voting. Grayce aka Gracious |

Sharing Is Caringby indigo997Comment: This is darling, and something you'd see in a newspaper, or a magazine. The expression on this child really makes the picture. You've included just enough detail to fill in the information. LOVE IT!!! Best of luck in the challenge. Please remember to keep an open mind when voting. Grayce aka Gracious |

Council sells 1532 defence tower (local frontpage)by AzrifelComment: Good, crisp focus, good color saturation, interesting subject. A perspective that would put it off-center would improve it though. I'd like to see more of the houses on the right included, with their interesting rooflines. Overall nice, but could use some improvement. Grayce |

Out of the Ashesby PtmanComment: I like the strong vertical lines combined with the horizontal foreground tree. The colors are good, but not enough detail on the trees. It isn't immediately evident that there had been a fire, although once reading the title it becomes clearer. Perhaps with less contrast some more detail could be detected? Snce the sky is overexposed, it may work better if the sky were just eliminated. It really doesn't add anything to the image. With the sky cropped, you'd be able to lighten the whole scene to expose more detail. I love that green coming up....would like to see it highlighted. Overall I like this picture, and the subject is very photojournalistic. Grayce |

Watching Mexico Independence Day Paradeby JEMComment: This is very good. Looks natural and unposed, and the yellow adds wonderful color. I can see this in the papers or a magazine. That tongue sticking out was perfect timing! Great! Focus is very good, exposure is too. Though there are shadows, they are soft enough to still see plenty of detail, and none of the highlights are blown out. You really handled the lighting well. Best of luck in the challenge. Roadside Remembranceby myqylComment: Very sad isn't it? This is a simple composition that makes me feel emotion. I'd call that successful. The coloring is very good. I think it all could be a little sharper. Overall I like it. Best of luck in the challenge. Please remember to keep an open mind when voting. Grayce aka Gracious |

Femme-Techby AnachroniteComment: Technology? Are they prosthetic? I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, and assume that the technology is a prosthetic breast for a cancer survivor. Even though my gut feeling is that it's not since there is cleavage. I'm reconsidering now....actually now I see that a bra is a result of technology. Sorry it took me a moment to make the connection. 6 Good luck in the challenge! Grayce |
