This is a nice winter scene. I like the effect of the bare trees in the foreground, and the viaduct adds a nice shape and a border between the bare trees and the evergreens and snow.

This makes an interesting abstract, while the one clear and sharp section - the edge of the platter - illustrates the challenge well. Nice shot.

This certainly meets the challenge, and the exposure and lighting are great. But a match balanced on a razor blade just doesn't move me as a photograph.
