This resembles the stairs that you never see the top of in Father Knows Best, looking at the front door, very cool image.

Very well done, I would agree with the crop but even without cropping the drama of the image is breathtaking in the lighting and shadows, almost puts a pit in the stomach of the viewer.
Reminiscent of stairs in a Hitchcock type movie.
