inteesting, nicely shot obviously. Would be better if you had worked out how to get the compass to look like it was balancing on the point pin rather than being stuck in the paper but thats a niggle about how to improve an already rather good picture.

immediate impression "whats this got to do with back to school?" then I read the title and I think it works real well. I have a scale of pictures and ones that need titles are lower down the order but now I'm thinking perhaps some pictures are better for requiring a title..... thought to be brutally honest in the better category would be "first day at school"

aruably not liney enough (I think it is), possibly washed out (on the face of it I think it is but the more I look at it the more I like it), somewhat abstract (zorks lines calls for that I like others may not).... and as an aside you could have put this into the pasta challange and got away with it !!!

I think its one of those pictures folks either like or dont which is why overall it bombmed a little (though for me 5.9 would be an acheivement) but for the commentators avg it score rather highly.

Overall I like it.
