I love this one and thought it would do much better. Great processing. It is interesting how the yellow stripes "feel" as if they are higher than the white ones, leading to the 3D effect tnun mentioned.

Lovely detail in the stonework and a complementary backdrop. I like the mix of horizontal and vertical elements. I would have considered a horizontal flip to create more of a left to right than right to left movement, but that is a relatively minor issue and is often easier for someone who has never visited a place to contemplate!

I love the negative space and the stillness you have captures with this image. I agree with spiritualspatula that a bit of cloning on the branch near the bird's head would have added a bit to the composition. Looking forward to more of your submissions.
