A real street photograph and nothing staged. The only expert editing I did was to make the arch coming out behind the head of the person standing in the back symmetric and also cleaned up the shadows on the leg of the person in front which were cast by horde of the photographers standing right in front of them.

These 2 were putting on a heck of a performance on the street and there were over 20 photographers all over them. I had to squeeze my way through all of those photographers, lie down on the ground and get the angle that I wanted for this shot. I felt like a paparazzi, lol.

The 16-35mm was the perfect lens here as I couldn't even look through my viewfinder to aim at them precisely, because of how tight my space was among all those photographers. The lighting is a bit uneven and harsh in some spots because of the harsh sun, but that is expected from street photography, especially since I had no control over where they were standing and I had no flash with me. It was a special moment and a memorable experience.

p.s. The character in front is Pierrot:

p.s.s. This was taken during the Venice Carnival and the original can be found here

Congratulations, Allen. Great shot which has the look of being professionally set up in a studio. You chose a great pov and good on you for worming your way in.

Not as strange as refusing a ribbon, I bet :D
Really good idea and implementation. I just switched calibration off on my display, and it works great nonetheless, somebody knows his business :)

This seems like it could have been ripped from a Stanely Cubrick movie. Well done.
