Beautifully crafted, very well done, very Uelsmann-like; and that's a compliment.

For me the foreground doesn't work very well with the rest of the image, is my nit. I keep trying to scope out the scale of it, it's slightly confusing. But, all in all, a wonderful image.

Savage image, wd on the result. A 7+ and no ribbon but equally as good as the previous 5.

I love your idea behind this, but I find the composition rather haphazard. I feel like my eyes are being blocked from viewing the right 1/4th of the image. They just don't even want to look there.

Wonderfully imaginative. And the execution is first rate.

Some work more on the reflections of the flying rocks and some on the general mood and this could be great. In any case a good work :)

Voted much earlier, coming back to leave comments now.

My very first impression/thoughts:
An ad for Citadel Propulsion Systems: Here at our remote forest facilities we carefully harvest the propulsion units needed for your floating citadel needs. With a carefully balanced application of magic, time, and water, the earth seeds grow to become what you need for your floating city or home.

O.K. now back to analysis. Without the expert editing you have a fabulous landscape shot. The lighting and colors just give off a feel of a warm inviting day at the lakeside. With the expert editing elements - you now have something very surreal happening to the landscape. Beauty now has some mystery to it. Nicely done.

i like it but this puzzles me if they've broke free from out the lake wouldnt they be either just mud or water rather than land with grass? unless theyve been there a while i suppose

Another digital masterpiece. Photographically the lake to mountain 'scape is crisp, shiny, excellent dof from front to rear. The grass plugs are weird. The draining water shows attention to detail. Yet the sun in the sky vs the sunshine on the plugs is incorrect. Water dripping from the plugs is really only visible in the sky and barely visible across the scape. I think it should have twinkles in it refracted from the sun and that would have made them more obvious. A shower sparkle as it where. Still, I'd never be able to create this and small flaws aside, marvellous work.

This is SO cool! Brilliant imagination and gorgeous execution. Will be giving Christophe a run for his money.
