A little on the overprocessed side for me, which is a shame, but still the capture itself is really great. 7 from me.

Great dof; would like a little more detail in the elephant and a little brighter, however, if I could get that close I would not do as well as you have. (voted earlier)

A shame this is underexposed (or processed that way) because it's such a coool shot!!!

Lovely scene.

Intriguing shot, follows all the rules but still remains unusual enough for me, maybe it's the vastness.

Lovely capture of the elephant, but the overhead, flat, light detracts from the overall effect.

I like the unusual POV and the simple, well balanced composition. Not completely sure about the HDR-like postprocessing

It's always nice to see animals in their environment rather than the usual extreme close-ups. The only quibble (and it is a quibble) is I think the photo would be even more vibrant if the clouds were a whiter shade. Nicely done - 8

The wide open spaces make it difficult to judge the size of the elephant. Very nice colors and composition. I like the cluster of two trees on one side of the center, and the elephant on the other. Nice sky too.

What incredible awesomeness! I'm assuming this is Africa. I'd love to come see these in the great wide open some day.

Love the composition on this. Takes such a large animal and really puts it into perspective.

Fabulous capture of wild... look ferocious and aggressive. Any trumpeting or loud breathing warning noise will cause the camera and wide angle lens with vibration blur :) A brave capture...sorry I can only vote 8 bcoz the skies editing a little bit not so natural.

the tones are too flat, the sky is a bit to dramatic, tone it down. the location of the subject is off, try moving him over to the bottom right third point, placing the horizon as close as possible to the bottom third line and zoom in some.

COOL! Looks under-exposed but I like the framing and grayness of the elephant against so much color.

Absolute WOW, for capture and composition, but the sky is a tad oversaturated for my taste. Definitely an image to be proud of and it would look quite at home in National Geographic.

such a flat landscape, beautiful though and the elephant perfect

I'm hoping that you meant to go and change the title before rollover...

This. Is. Wonderful.

Could use some brightening (in my opinion)... but... wonderful.

The real thing? Captivating. (Processing seems a bit dark.)

Beautiful location, beautiful composition and a powerful shot. IMO this needed no processing! Still a great shot!

fantastic picture but the post processing is a bit off in my opinion..little too muddy and you can see the dark hdr-ish halos around the clouds...shame for this challenge but can be easily reworked, you got yourself a great image!

while I like the muted contrast on the elephant and the landscape, it doesn't work for me on the sky. Just a slight dodge on the clouds would have made this perfect for me.

Iconic. Makes me want to dash out there and be one with the bush.
I've seen this one in B&W I think and it was stunning too, preferred it to the colour version.

Nice choice - I like how the elephant seems to be posing for you.
