For the Jan 2012 Blur Side Challenge

At our bird feeder, where we provide a wonderful choice of Nyjer thistle seed, shelled peanuts, and black oiled sunflower seeds (shelled or not depending on the budget that week) and/or safflower seed. I cloned out the top of the feeder hanging from that hook. Isn't it amazing when the camera freezes an instant we have a hard time seeing otherwise.

Processing: Glow, grain, and edge darkening added with Nik Color Effects Pro. Adjusted levels, brightness and contrast, and sharpened.

Another exquisite bird shot. I agree with prior comments and I love the amber hues.

Yes that's on of the main attractions of a camera for me--that it can show me what I can't see on my own. And birds offer so much! Their wings are amazing. Sweet shot.

THis just has a great feel to it, the comp works well and the grain. Nice to see you are feeding the birds when you can.
