Nice idea, I think the shot may have worked better if you angled the camera so that her body was fading out of focus. With the current pose, the overwhelming majority of the image is sharp, removing emphasis from the shallow DoF. Kudos for being bold, well done.

What method did you use to desa? it looks spot on! While the red rose really draws your attention. Definitely shallow DOF as her sides are on the edge of focus. Sexy shot, I like it!

Ha! brilliant choice of subject for the challenge!

The left pattern distracts me a bit much from the red... and her right cheek could use a bit of smoothing, if more warmth in the studio weren't available. Chilly. :D
