I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: Lovely movement here - I really like it's radial component - like you were spinning as she ran around you. Excellent contrast choice works really well to bring out the texture of the running surface and the deep shadow is magnificent. The crop/framing is sublime - the small part of her hair adds much.
Critical stuff: Nope.
Overall: Lovely dynamic stuff. |

| the running shadow, the lift of the foot, the hint of the hair come together with the photographer's sweep of the arm and a fine black and white conversion to create a swinging image. |
