| This is a great composition, but the colors seem slightly worn out to me. Perhaps it would be more striking with slightly higher contrast or blacks. |

| Points for getting any kind of photograph of an owl. I consider myself lucky just to see one. |

I love the little streaks of snow and how you have eye contact with the owl. He doesn't look too pleased :-P
I think overall the owl needs to be a bit sharper though. He appears a bit soft. |

| Beautiful portrait. You see so many owl photos as an extreme close up, it's great to see one with context. |
