| to ultimately capture this attempt would have taken a boat and a still ocean -- not happening -- but still an awesome capture on a very difficult challenge . Nice color - nice work |

I know how the light was captured and why it is there, but I think it distracts just a little much from the overall image. Something more along the lines of Thomas Kincaid pictures would have made this image great.

| I love how you captured the color of the ocean, nice blue to white tween. Would like to see more detail in cliffs but i gather you were already using a fairly slow shutter speed to begin with. Composition very good, all in all a 7 |

| This photo really caught my eye. Excellent job blurring the water with your timed exposure and great job getting the light flare from the telescope. The early evening or morning blues are beautiful here. Great job! Good luck! |

| This is one great image. Your choice of the slow shutter speed did wonders with the water - it's magical. The stopped down lens (or star filter) added a great touch to the light. This should finish way up there! Congratulations on a superb entry. |

| Assuming the light is natural and not a special effect, this is my favorite of the challenge.I love how the moonlight catches the waves and brings out the texture of the sky and how the white lighthouse and yellow beam are such a stark contrast against the richer blues and blacks, really drawing your eye there. Beautifully captured. Good luck. |
