I wouldn't know where to begin... I feel as if I could just reach in and turn each part over and over in my hand with wonder. Why is that? Possibly a multitude of archetypes. You hit a very rich vein.

I am glad this finished so well! It was my favorite.
This is probably the first time there are two photos shot in that wonderful country in the first page. Mine was shot Downtown Varadero though. Huge congrats on the ribbon!!!

Cuba's a gold mine, photographically. This was a 10 from me, way back when voting started. No reason to change it, now I've seen them all :-)

Great shot. I like your processing and the muted sepia. Wouldn't it be a shame if Cuba got renovated? (Selfish concept, I know, but I'd love to go there while the buildings are decaying and the cars delapidating.)

On top of the image subject and general scene, the repetitive balconies introduce a rhythm to the image and frame it nicely.

I love the way the far end of the alley fades into white. It looks almost like an old film photograph.

I keep coming back to bump this up, but now that it's up to a 10, I can't give it anything more than high praise.

Wow Cuba! Don't think I have ever seen a shot on DPC from here. So typical 50's. And the B&W helps that mood along. Nice!

The toning is excellent and I love how it fades in the distance. The looks between the adults and the child are a wonderful touch!
