I guess my interpretation of this shot comes from being a mama. When I see one born of another, I consider it a baby.

This is actually scoring higher than I predicted so it's nice to see some here are not being so literal in their voting during this challenge.

I'm very happy to have this photo as part of my portfolio. I'm trying to take photos of things that have meaning, rather than putting stuff in for the sake of simply matching the challenge description. I've done that in the past and I look at those photos and wish I could remove them. Actually some of my past entries make me cringe lol. But oh well, I guess it allows me to show that I've changed in my thought process.

Nice shot Michelle. I'm going through this challenge looking only at images that I actually enjoy, thumbnail selecting, since the challenge matter is one which I'm not too keen of. I'm glad your shot scored as well as it did, since I think the way you captured the mother and puppy is very nice. Great composition, and the texture of the puppy's face is splendid. Great job.

Michelle, to bad you got nailed on this. This is sweet and the comp is just perfect. 5.7500, really. Then you've got others that are just so darn predictable generic. sometimes I wonder about the dpc voters
