Thirdly, I could never make this particular photo black and white
<<<

Actually I think it does work B&W too.... takes your eye to the lines in the image - all the same your choice of colour is best but you don't need me to tell you that ;-)

He is not terrified at all.. in fact he is just the opposite and is very calm. He just has really huge, and beautiful, eyes!

Nice shot and love the colour palette.

Just a shame that the poor bunny looks terrified of being eaten . . :-)

I am not sure how to make edits in the comments section, or if it is even possible, so I just wanted to post here to say thank you to everyone who voted! This surely made my day and week!

I just wanted to address some of the comments.

Firstly, everything in the image is in there for a reason. What better way to make a self portrait than one that includes a piece of your own framed work? It balances out the composition and leads your eye around the photograph.

Secondly, the pose was not uncomfortable at all and after doing maybe 200 shots of this, I wasn't aching! There are arms on the chair so that is what I am leaning on, making the pose quite comfy! The way I am positioned and how the dress falls alludes to a floating effect, which I like.

Thirdly, I could never make this particular photo black and white because the tones are what gives this photo the extra hint of femininity and elegance. I shoot mostly black and white film (as you can see in the framed shot above me), but this was done on purpose. There is reason to everything in a photograph!

Finally, I would like to talk about my little baby, Oliver. I actually run a rabbit rescue so he is one of the surrenders that was about to be given up to feed a snake. He is the sweetest most cuddly rabbit I have ever encountered, but it took him a while to get there and gain trust in humans again. Now, we do this trick where I pick him up over me and ask for a kiss and he puts his paws on my lips as to say, "No!". Its adorable and he was doing that a lot in this shoot, which is why his paws are reached towards my lips. This is a position he is very comfortable with so he wasn't freaking out. He just so happens to be a bunny with the biggest most adorable eyes I have even seen! Of course he got a papaya treat afterward and then wanted to do it again, so we cuddled some more. Bunnies aren't usually apt to behind held and cuddled with so he is a rare exception and the reason why I asked for his help as a model as opposed to the other three adorable and sweet bunnies of mine or any other in the rescue.

If anyone has any questions about pet rabbits and care for them, I would be more than happy to send you some info! Remember to think adoption first and no matter how small the pet, they still all deserve love, attention, and respect! Thanks again everyone!

Wonderful shot. Soft tones and lighting. The bunny makes for a different and fun twist. Oliver works, but in what the shot reminds me of, how about Alice And The Rabbit ;) an 8 from me.

Yay for the rabbit!! I tried to get a shot of myself with one of mine and couldn't get anything I liked. I do have to say, Oliver looks a tad alarmed with his little eyes bulging like that. But I'm sure you gave him a treat afterwards and he felt much better.

is that a rabbit? the pose looks very uncomfortable, almost like you are floating there.

I would have cropped out that picture, but otherwise quite good, except for oliver, who looks a bit bug-eyed and scared....
