 I was hoping to do better than 6.09 (my overall average), but this shot consistently stayed above 7 since voting started, that too in a FS!! I'm pleasantly surprised - ecstatic even.

However, I hope people aren't voting this so high because they think I took the shot while scuba diving. I thought it was obvious I shot it in an aquarium - the glare on the glass, the thin line where water meets the walls, the light patterns on the aquarium walls etc. I like the shot a lot myself, and while it wasn't a cakewalk, it was certainly less effort than donning scuba gear :) I just hope people are voting on the shot for what it is, and not for what they think the effort behind it is.

Regardless, the score is fantastic and I'll savor it :)

Very interesting shot! It show much detaisl of the turtle and the difraction of shooting througt a glass adds to the scene.

Congrats Chandra for the ribbon and a PB. Indeed a great shot, I understand shooting behind the aquarium glasses bring it's own challenges. Also, I think it may be handheld as Monterey bay aquarium is always crowded.

Whoa, that is wonderful. Unique for DPC and a fabulous shot. Maybe a mark off for the very tight crop rhs but considering the technical difficulty...I'll turn a blind eye this time...I'm in two minds whether this was taken at an aquarium or if you were in your dive suit...doesn't matter, it's still a super image. 9
