I had a really tough time deciding which to enter this in I almost pulled it out and entered in long exposure, but I ended up having a different idea for that so I kept it in.

For those who voted me down because you thought it should have been in city, let me make my argument for why I put it in rural. The actual city which is more of a town across the lake not a city is just a small part of my photo. The majority of my photo and the main subject of my photos is the lake and the mountains. Which is definitely rural. In fact the spot I took this from is very sparsely populated and people camp, and hunt here regularly. In order for this to be a true cityscape the city would have had to form the skyline and become the landscape. The city does not make up the landscape in this image therefore it is very secondary to the image.

At any rate I think most people saw past it and I am really happy with my score, currently at a 7.25. I'm just hoping to keep it over a 7 so it can land on my profile page. :)

This could easily have been entered in either exclusive challenge - the long exposure and smooth water add a surreal mood to the image - the lights against the backdrop of the mountains could easily be torchlit marauders on boats coming to pillage or declare war.
