Interesting take! Might be fun to saturate those trees in the background with color and leave the rest black and white? Just a funky suggestion.

Great composition, I really love the lines leading in to this picture!
The lower part of the image is particularly appealing... nice job!

Thanks to all who voted and commented. This is a high for me and gives me hope that I'm slowly but surely climbing that big learning curve. This site is wonderful for helping a newbie and gives us many great photographers to try and emulate. Thanks again.

Voted eralier, returning for comments.

Quite an impresive image which goes on and on. Good b/w choice. Like the land of plenty. Bumping to 6.

After seeing this in the thumbnails, I've been waiting for this to appear large. Not disappointed! This is a wonderful composition with the leading lines hitting the off-centre trees very satisfyingly. Small suggestion: more cropped of bottom so large furrow doesn't dominate.

Very strong lines and composition balanced well by row of tall trees in back right only.

ah well done on this composition, I looked at doing something like this too but mine did not turn out half as good! it has all the right ingrediants for me, but so love the row of trees to the right, gives a lot of atmosphere to the pic!

What a great shot! I love farming shots and this one is really set off by the six trees on the right. - 9

Vanishing point is clear, I just don't like the colors. The mountain range in the background looks, I don't know, just kind of blah.

you should have adjusted your levels just a tiny bit more and the image would have really come alive. The sharpness is awesome but with just a bit more blacks and whites this image would have been truly excellent.
Amazing composition and perspective as well. 9

WOW... a favorite of mine... I snagged it and tweaked it a bit and found it even more to my liking (qualified by my potentially out of synch monitor settings) with my minus 5 gamma and minus 7 contrast using Thumbs Plus 6.0 Pro. Great Picture... Where is it?
I also put a level on the horizon (WindowKey + O) drew a level line along the horizon… even if it wasn’t supposed to have one (perhaps it is sloped like that for the circulation of water…)

This is one of my favorites in this challenge. It's done so well! The black & white really suits it as well.

Outstanding shot. My only gripe would be that the closest foreground is not in focus. Still one of my favorite shots in the challenge. 10
