Voted eralier, returning for comments.

If it were not for the nut, these strings would converge. However, your presentation does demonstrate the vp, because even if they arer not parallel, they are also subject to perspective convergence. Nice effect on the strings. Bumping to 6.

As I commented on the 'fireburst bass' shot I'll comment on this. I love music and am a lifetime musician so I love the idea. The lighting in this shot is wonderful but the blurring from high aperture disorients me.

You have a unique take on the popular string theme. The moving strings add some nice lines. Even with the movement, I'd like to see more in focus.

Lovely combination of shallow DOF and motion blur. I like the off-centred composition and the vivid red in the background.

The narrow DOF does interesting things to the strings - this is my favorite fretboard shot of this challenge!

good shot but out of focus

The shallow depth of field spoils your vanishing point. Otherwise, this is cool!

I like the red background but i don't care for the focus.

Nice abstract quality to this image which sets it apart from others of the same type.
Nicely done

Nice solution to the challenge. Refreshing change. The background makes this unique and extremely fun to look at - 9

Great idea, but keeping the strings still would have been better.
IMHO, Both moving string and DOF make it too blurry overall.

This is a fantastic photo. I think that maybe the DOF is a little too strong for the taste of some of the voters. It also obscures the effect of the converging lines.

I'd like to see more of this in focus.
