OK, So I might have cheated and copied someone elses idea from here: //universe.lego.com/en-us/community/creationlab/displaycreation.aspx?id=0e062748-58d2-4c32-983e-8cca94a956b8 ...but the hard work of building was all mine.
In the process of creating this illusion I have managed to upset my Husband by not doing any housework for 2 days and my kids by not letting them play with THEIR Lego for 2 days!
I now close my eyes and all I can see is Lego.

Here is the built Lego illusion from above, It took a few attempts to get the angle just right and it still isnt perfect but it was close!
Thanks for all the great comments, it was fun!

Ha! This makes me want to watch "Inception" again...
Well executed, the DOF could be better, though.

Great angle! You achieved the desired effect. Not sure about the DOF and the white background (maybe black would be a better choice)

i still cant seem to figure out how you built this, im thinking the break is between the red and yellow. as a perspective trick you nailed it.

photo wise its a little soft in areas.

Awesome use of perspective, and I love the never-ending staircase! I wonder if dodge and burn could help with the shadows on the left side? Either way, this is one of my favorites in the challenge.
