Yes.......I agree with everyone. Cut my own throat but didn't think folks would take it sooo-sooo seriously or so too the letter. It's okay.
Also.....ya know this wasn't the hand of MAN........I am a WOMAN!! lol

I know this was set up, but it never occurred to me that being set up by the hands of man would trip you up so badly. Alan said it well, anal scoring. I would have preferred this in a more natural setting, as if they had fallen off after winter. (I forget is it deer that lose their antlers, or elk?)

The black background appears to be "human intervention". I could be wrong about that, but it doesn't look naturally occuring. The angle and framing/cropping are very nice, and I really like the lighting on the antlers. They look very old. Good luck in the challenge.

awesome photo, but this looks very much like it was set up inside, and therefore does not meet my definition of the challenge (which, i know, is different from yours since you consider this to meet the challenge, but i have to vote according to my definition). sorry. anyway, that out of the way, i did want to give you feedback on the photo. i think it's totally cool how your have arranged the antlers and how old and weathered they look. they really could tell stories, i'm sure. very nicely lit, and great black background. just the right amount of space around without looking too empty. in a different competition you would get very high marks from me. :)

The light on the antlers is too harsh. It needs to be diffused by some tissue paper or something like that. I can't see much of the texture on the antlers at all, and there's too much light on the background. The composition is quite nice.

This is a nice shot overall, but I think it's weak on the challenge theme. The dark background makes me think the photo is contrived and not natural, therefore, the hand of man is at play in the photo? - setzler

The anal retentive side of me wants to ask whether the hand of man chopped the antlers off and put them in front of a black background... but still an interesting shot :)

Well composed shot, although the wonderfull surface structure could have been worked out better.

Nice shot! Good lighting. (looks like a dribble on the black background materiel, dead center between the antlers. Very good focus. 8 Swash

This was assembled by human hands...

Obviously arranged by the hand of man.

The blacks are very black and it looks good. I like the curves in this shot, the way the antlers are set up works great. Well done.

I suppose I could be wrong, but this looks like it has human intervention.

I am wondering how the black cloth and antlers were placed in the cameras view... the challenge says no sign of human intervention, yet, it appears to have human intervention... no?
