| Nice idea. The twigs and branches look harsh and foreboding, set off very well by the crow. It seems low res or oversharpened though, and the colour of the sky is a bit too bright to suit the mood. Maybe taking down the saturation would have lifted this photo a bit more. |

| This looks a little over-sharpened to me -- especially easy to do with silhouettes. It's also a preference; I know a lot of people like more sharpening than I do... |

| There just isn't enough in this shot to really hold my attention long. The color is ok, but it needs something else to really sing to me. The focus and clarity are nice. Definately appears to fit the challenge, and it's a good idea, just a bit plain for my own personal tastes. Good luck in the challenge. |

| Looks like it may have been zoomed in a little too far... I would have preferred to see some details in the bird rather than just an outline. |

| This is great! The turquoise and black is wonderful. I love the composition. I think the branches took on too much turquoise though, due to some editing. Over all, very appealing. |

| challenge met. you have picked a nice combination of busy twigs and also some empty space to frame the bird, i like that. also like that you have a nicely colored sky and that you caught the bird looking to the side. i don't like the processing you did to the photo so much, there's a slight "halo" around everything that suggests to me that maybe you sharpened the image just a tad too much. |

| I am not really wild about the abberations around the branches, maybe too much sharpening?? My olympus does this sometimes at full zoom. |
