fantastic shot brendon .. love that smooth water and the horizontal 'layers' of the path, the sand, beach and the horizon .. :) |

Gorgeous setting. I want to transport myself to the shore and relax. I find it very interesting that the light casting down to the water seems to be creating a bit of an optical illusion and causing bumps in the water.

Obvious use of a tripod, or any other long-term stabilization tool (1-10 *is not the score of the shot though*): 10
Smaller aperture evident with starbursts in the lights. Smooth water looks good too. Unfortunately, the sidewalk and dirty/seaweeded beach kills the shot overall. Moving closer to the boardwalk would have been a better position. |
