The title rang a bell in my head, and then I realized from this story which I read to my daughters...Vasilisa the Beautiful, from our Russian Fairy Tale book. This image impeccably portrays that essence of Baba Yaga, Clive!

Too bad your in-challenge voters didn't take the time to look up babayaga. It led me on a merry chase through the related stories, which I was totally unaware of. After doing the homework, this is a great image that does a great job of capturing the feel of babayaga.

I have no idea what this is, but I know two things. First, it's not a silhouette, and second, it looks pretty cool nonetheless. I'm not voting on this picture, but I just wanted to say that this looks cool, even if you're getting a lot of DNMCs. Can't wait to find out what it is!

really nice; I hope it has the juice to go far- it may not be a focused and enough of a decipherable subject- but its really good in my book...

I don't know what I'm looking at, but it scares me, and is really cool.

However, I don't see a silhouette in this photo either, instead I see something being heavily side-lit.
