So anecdotal, could be anyone we know. Makes me think of Winston Churchill, so it becomes even more iconic.

Almost dream-like quality to this - tending more towards nightmare than pleasant dream, but not necessarily so. I like the use of the dark upper left corner (picture, mirror, you can't really tell for sure). This will probably get slammed by the quick-draw voters, but I find it a nice solid entry with a great tie-in between "...at night" and dream / nightmare.

an interesting shot, but a bit too much recognizable form to be "abstract", yet at the same time, a bit too much abstractness to fall within the portrait realm. I think I would have liked this more without the large dark (painting?) thing on the left side.
