 Thank you for the great comments. These are orchids, I am not sure what variety. I think they are alittle busy with too many blooms but I was not allowed to prune them. :)
I edited this on my laptop and the monitor must have been way off. This looked like a hot pink instead of purple, hence the title.

a bit on the dark side, but great color and good focus. might have been even better in square format
