 As I was shooting the miniature bird house for the challenge a little bug crawled onto one of the flowers and appeared to be checking out the house. Being very new at photography, I don't know if focusing on the bug and allowing the miniature to be out of focus is a good idea or not. Cropped, auto-levels, balance & color, resized and lightened the photo a little more.

I really like this. The composition, colors and lighting are all good. The focus seems to be off a bit off. I don't see how it fits into the challenge. I gave you a 4 because it didn't fit. Sorry.

Doesn't meet the challenge - IMO Plus, the photo is OOF and the composition could use some work - I'm not sure what you're trying to say.

forgive me for being dense, but i'm not sure how this meets the challenge. to me this seems to be more of a macro/close up than a miniature. love the colors. wish the focus was a little sharper and that there was a smaller dof; the background seems very busy.

Why focus on the foreground? I didn't even see the birdhouse till I wrote my initial comment. Poor composition.
